Re: Baked mushrooms

and I used to make this recipe, the mushrooms are very good in the oven, in addition to them I also made potatoes in the oven. I haven't made them for a long time because I need bigger mushrooms.

Re: Baked mushrooms

They are very good! And I always do but I never get enough. I also buy some tomatoes that I fill with chopped mushrooms, salt, pepper and greens. In my opinion it is the best appetizer during Lent.

Re: Baked mushrooms

I also do something similar and I really like recipes with champignon mushrooms. Mushrooms and pleurotus contain vitamin D2 which helps stabilize calcium in the bones and strengthens the body against cancer and lung disease. Vitamin D2 is found only in these mushrooms, over , eggs and assimilate from the sun especially between 9-11 when the ultraviolet rays are emitted

Re: Baked mushrooms

Thanks a lot for the information, I knew that vitamin D helps stabilize calcium, but I didn't know exactly what food it was found in. very useful information and it is good to remember

Re: Baked mushrooms

I usually make them by St. Andrew, when I'm the patron saint of the house and I make fasting food. also chopped finely, a little vegeta. I fill the mushrooms with this mince, I place the hats in the tray and on top of each one I put a piece of margarine as big as a pea. They are delicious.

Hi Ioana, I want to ask you something if possible. Can you use another filling for mushrooms? Thanks

Ioana 9 years ago - 27 November 2009 17:49

Re: Baked mushrooms

elena, sorry, I forgot to answer you. I mean, I thought about stuffing, but I didn't realize I didn't write to you
so you can fill with a mixture of spinach and telemea, the one here: [link] and after you fill them you can grate the cheese on top to gratinate nicely

or you can use ragu (or a meat-like sauce): [link] and also, in the last minutes in the oven, you can sprinkle them with Parmesan cheese this time.

mariana 9 years ago - December 27, 2009 10:25

Re: Baked mushrooms

The mushrooms in the oven are delicious, I make the filling from the tails a carrot and an onion given through the small grater, greens, spices and grated cheese on top.
One thing is not clear is whether or not the top pellet mushrooms are cleaned. I always clean them, I don't know if it's good or not, I mean if that peel isn't gelatinous?

carmen 9 years ago - 27 December 2009 19:12

Re: Baked mushrooms

I also cleaned the skin mushrooms before I went with a friend who used to work in a mushroom shop and she told me that in no case it is cleaned but only the hat is washed well. I understood that there would be many vitamins. in that skin. anyway I haven't cleaned the mushrooms for a few years and they are just as delicious. I also make all kinds of recipes but I love the mushrooms made on the tray with a little salt

valentina 8 years ago - 27 January 2010 14:46

Re: Baked mushrooms

I also have a simple recipe: each tail is cut long (julliene) and is put in its hat. Then add salt, pepper to taste (a little spicy are tastier, in my opinion) and a teaspoon of butter or margarine in each hat. Grate cheese on top and put in the oven. After removing, add chopped parsley.
I tried to cook the tails with onions, but they seemed much better without (onions are a bit heavy).

Hi Ioana, I came across your site a few days ago and I find it very practical and inspiring. I really like to cook especially when it comes to my family or friends (I usually do not eat from the food I make, not other but I find it fascinating and also fully satisfying the process of food preparation, combining flavors, culinary architecture, etc.). All in all, I wanted to tell you to try jamie oliver's mushroom recipe (I'm a fan). It's very interesting to see how the taste buds react to different flavors of the same food and how each mushroom will become a new taste and surprise experience.
I hope I didn't kidnap you for a long time with my polology, I'm new to commenting

Hi, I'll try the recipe too, but I'm not clear if the mushrooms are peeled, and before placing the mushrooms in the pan, don't put oil

Ioana 7 years ago - April 3, 2011 12:12 PM

Re: Baked mushrooms

I don't clean the mushrooms from the skin. it doesn't make sense, because they don't have a different consistency from the rest of the mushroom. just wash them quickly under running water or wipe them with a damp napkin. it depends on the time and the fun of that moment.
I don't put oil because the tray is Teflon and they don't stick. but it's best to put a baking sheet underneath, just so you don't have to rub the tray when you wash it.

Re: Baked mushrooms

Dear cooks,
Did you know that the real fast is the one in the bible, do NOT eat anything, but only drink water, say others do not drink water. It is OK to drink water or if you have a headache, drink black coffee. Jesus fasted for 40 days, but he did not drink the water.

The mushroom business is actually a diet before the feast of the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.
The real fast is to not eat anything until sunset.

Read from the Bible in the Gospel of Matthew and the other Gospels. SE posts Let's fast for half a day if we can't for a whole day, SO DO I.
Good God. Don't help.

Hritos sent. Truly, let SA live a clean life that SA proves this. If you have any questions you can write me PE address marianapercy @. Yahoo. Com
I will MAKE the mushrooms today too

Ioana 11 months ago - 9 March 2018 10:32

Re: Baked mushrooms

very few calories, mushrooms have 30 calories per 100 grams. the rest of the ingredients are negligible. and if you put 1 tablespoon of oil you add another 150 calories.
what fast is this with 600 calories? it's very little if you intend to keep it until Easter, you will be malnourished.

Rabbit roll with mushrooms and cheese

Rabbit roll with mushrooms and cheese
I like rabbit meat, it's tasty, healthy so I buy it every time I find it in stores.
From a house rabbit about 1.3 kg, I prepared two dishes for two people.
From the thighs I made a steak on the tray with a garnish of green beans and mashed potatoes and I deboned the back and prepared this delicious roll with the filling of mushrooms, spinach and Sofia cheese from Delaco.
Those who do not love lamb and they want to have a different kind of Easter on the table steak, I can replace it with rabbit meat which is a healthy meat without cholesterol and just as tasty. It can be cooked like a steak in the oven, with sauce, on the grill, it can even be made into soup.

Rabbit roll with mushrooms and cheese - Ingredients

the rabbit's back and belly
150 g Sofia-Delaco cheese
100 g fresh spinach
4-5 medium mushrooms
& frac12 capsicum peppers
salt
pepper
garlic powder
rosemary
2 tablespoons olive oil
30 butter
sweet Boya
150 ml of semi-dry white wine
1 teaspoon honey
a teaspoon of Dijon mustard

Pea puree - Garnish
250 g frozen green peas
30 g butter
salt pepper

Rabbit roll with mushrooms and cheese - Preparation

The back of the rabbit is carefully deboned so that a whole piece results, then it is slightly flattened between two sheets of plastic foil so that the piece is uniform.

Season with salt, pepper, paprika, rosemary and a pinch of garlic.
Saute the spinach in a tablespoon of oil for 1 minute then leave to cool. Separately, fry the sliced mushrooms in a tablespoon of oil until the juice decreases, then add the diced peppers and keep on high heat for about 1 minute.
Place a uniform layer of spinach, diced cheese, sautéed mushrooms and peppers over the piece of meat and roll as tight as possible.

Tie with kitchen thread, grease with a little butter, then wrap in baking paper and place in a cake pan.
Pour a little wine and water into the tray and put it in the preheated oven at 210 degrees C for 40 minutes.

Rabbit roll with pea puree

Remove the roll from the baking paper and brown on all sides in a pan with a little olive oil. Set aside to cover with foil.

In the pan in which we browned the roll, put the remaining sauce in the oven tray, the rest of the wine, honey, mustard and boil for 2-3 minutes until the sauce becomes consistent. Season to taste and then pass it through a sieve to become fine.

For the pea puree, boil the peas in salted water, then drain the juice and pass it through the blender together with the butter. Add the hot juice to the desired consistency and season with salt and pepper.
Slice into rolls and place on a plate with pea puree and sauce.
Good appetite!!

Quiche with bacon, cheese and mushrooms

A quiche with bacon, cheese and mushrooms & # 8230or & # 8230â € ”another foray into my French cuisine. An extremely simple, very good preparation that can quickly adapt to the available ingredients. Did I say French cuisine? Did I say Quiche? Yes, because the model is the recipe for "Quice Lorraine", a delicious dish made from a mixture of eggs, cream, bacon and cheese, wrapped in a thin layer of crispy dough or puff pastry, baked before.

Although Quiche Lorraine is known today as a classic dish of French cuisine, the recipe is very old (sixteenth century) and comes from the medieval region of Lothringen, or Lorraine as the French later renamed it. The Germans called this open pie (not covered with dough) first Kuchen, which simply means & # 8222tort & # 8221, then it was called Küche, to finally call it Kische.

As an appearance, initially, the famous & # 8222Quiche Lorraine & # 8221 was a pie filled with a mixture of cream and smoked bacon or bacon, with a baking dough top before. Only later did the French add cheese to the recipe and made the puff pastry version with its appearance. When the cheese is added, it is called & # 8222Quiche au Gruyère & # 8221 or & # 8222Quiche Vosgienne & # 8221. Another option, & # 8222Quiche Alsacienne & # 8221 is comparable to Quiche Lorraine, except that it contains a lot of onions in the recipe. After World War II Quiche Lorraine became popular in England, and the British varied its preparation with: peppers, broccoli, mushrooms, ham, seafood, cottage cheese & # 8230 In the United States, it became known after 1950 , and Americans prefer it with onions, diced bacon and a thinner crust of dough. Today the Quiche served everywhere in France, has a modern look, with a wavy crust and in addition to the classic mixture of eggs, cream, milk, the fillings are very varied, from cheese, vegetables, to all kinds of meat, bacon, etc. If you want to know more about quiche, you can read here and here.

I wrote the quiche recipe this month, being the host for the “Virtual Hug” challenge, initiated by a meticulous and soulful girl, Cristina Pană. I wrote it thinking of a talented and skilled lady, whom I also knew as extraordinary and as a man, not only as a blogger. I know that she often flirts with French cuisine, recently I even discovered some excellent recipes on her blog - "Pansy`s Recipes" / "Pansy recipes", which I invite you to visit because you will surely have something to see and try. I hug you and kiss you, dear Pansy (Geta Cipăianu) and thank you for the recipe for Pithiviers, another traditional French.

A Quiche can be served as a snack, a light dinner, an entree at lunch, or why not even for breakfast, and at picnics it is wonderful & # 8230

-After half an hour, take the dough out of the fridge and with the help of a rolling pin, spread a sheet on the worktop sprinkled with a little flour, a size slightly larger than the size of the baking tray (I used a tart pan with a diameter of 26 cm), because the sheet also extends on the edge.

-Smooth the filling nicely and put the tart in the hot oven and bake at 170 ° C for about 20 minutes (depending on the oven), or until lightly browned on top and on the edge.

-When the quiche is ready, take it out of the oven and optionally sprinkle freshly ground pepper.

-It can be served hot, or left to cool very well and when it is cold it can be served simply, with grated cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, or according to everyone's preference. It is wonderful for breakfast, snack or as cold entrees before the main course, you choose!

-If you find it difficult to prepare crispy dough at home, you can replace it with commercial puff pastry.

-The recipe can be improved / adapted with other ingredients, your imagination and the generosity of the refrigerator being decisive in making the decision.
